Today I propose you the Red Beans Burger that are at their best in a nice Burger bread with vegetables and my delicious vegan Mayonnaise.
Needed for 4 large burger:
- 240gr of red beans (canned ones are fine, drain well)
- onion
- 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 30 g corn flour
- breadcrumbs q.s.
- various spices (I use the seasonings for meat because they have a nice mix of spices and not too much salt)
- parsley
- extra virgin olive oil
Filling for sandwiches:
- My Vegan mayonnaise
- Ketchup
- salad
- tomatoes
- grilled vegetables
Method:
Puree beans with onion, mustard and tomato sauce. You must obtain a not too homogeneous dough, as in the photo.
Now add the corn flour, spices, parsley and adjust the consistency with the breadcrumbs until you get a composite compact and not too sticky.
Now let it rest in the refrigerator at least 30 minutes so that it becomes harder.
Then formed the burger with your hands or with the cup-paste if you prefer.
Very reminiscent of the classic burgers ... they almost impression :) |
